Convertify ("we", "us") provides a Shopify app that adds a Cash on Delivery and prepaid order form to online stores. This policy explains what personal information the app collects, why, how long we keep it, and the choices available to merchants and their customers.
| From | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Merchants | Store name, store domain, email, country, currency, plan, app settings; product titles, prices and images from the store catalog. | To run the app, show the right products and prices, and bill through Shopify. |
| Customers | Name, phone number, email (if asked), shipping address, pincode, the products and offers chosen, payment choice (COD or prepaid), and any extra form fields the merchant adds. | To create the order in the merchant's Shopify store and show it to the merchant. |
| Customers | Phone verification (OTP) requests and their outcome. | To confirm the phone number when the merchant turns on verification. |
| Customers | IP address, device type and order-form events (opened, submitted), plus a fraud risk score. | To prevent fake orders and abuse, and to give merchants conversion statistics. |
| Shopify | Order and product updates sent by Shopify webhooks. | To confirm orders placed through the form and keep products in sync. |
Cash on Delivery orders are paid in cash to the courier. Online payments are made in Shopify Checkout. Convertify never sees or stores card, UPI or bank details.
We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or share a customer's data between different merchants' stores.
We share information only with:
Data is sent over HTTPS. Sensitive values are encrypted at rest, one-time codes are stored only as hashes, and every storefront and webhook request is verified with Shopify's signature. Access is limited to the merchant who owns the data and to our staff for support.
Depending on where you live (for example under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the GDPR or the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the use of your personal information. Customers should contact the store they ordered from; the merchant can act through Shopify, and we support those requests. You can also contact us directly.
We will update this page if our practices change and revise the date above. Significant changes will be announced to merchants in the app.
Questions or requests about privacy: the support email shown on our Shopify App Store listing.
